How can I book?
Simply send us an email with the intended dates and number of passengers and we’ll reply to you immediately.

How can I pay?
We accept cash: AR Pesos, US dollars, Euros; PayPal (US$ & €); Credit Cards like an online purchase (Visa, Master, Amex & Discover, not Debit Cards); and Chase QuickPay.

Do I need to put down a deposit to secure the room?
Yes, we require a deposit of at least one night in advance in foreign currency or 50% of the whole stay if paying in AR$.

Cancelation policy
In case of cancelling your booking at least a week before your check in date, well give the full deposit back deducting the banking charges. Same way, if you change your intended dates we can take the deposit for new dates if we are being informed of such a changes are made at least a week before initial check in intended date. In case of modifying your booking to a less number of nights for your stay, we won’t charge for this/these night/nights if you inform us of such a change 24hs before your arrival.

Rates validity
Rates in AR$ have validity of 1 week (due to current high local inflation), to keep this rates within a week we require a deposit of at least 50% of your whole stay. For bookings in AR$ when check-in is over 1 week from the date of confirmation, we require 100% payment in pesos in advance. Rates in foreign currency have a validity of 6 months, to secure bookings we require a deposit of at least on night in all cases.

Are there kids allowed?
Yes, everyone is welcome! Free of charge for under 2 years old in a cradle or under 4 years old using existing beds. Only one kid per room.

Are there wineries nearby to walk or cycle?
Yes, there are wineries in a walking distance, such as La Rural (Rutini wines) 500m away, Viña María (Bodega Cavagnaro) 950m, and Trapiche 1800m. If you prefer cycling, there are many more to visit. The furthest winery on the wine route is Carinae, only 12km away.

Does the Lodge have bikes available?
Yes, we do, belong to a rental shop nearby but we can arrange to have them here upon you arrival, this way you can start and finish your journey in Tikaykilla without the need to walk to the shop.

How do I get to the lodge?
If you arrive by bus, best way is to take a taxi there, we’ll send you directions in Spanish for the Taxi Drvier and Maps, as it’s hard to establish an exact arrival time and meeting point at the bus terminal. If you are staying somewhere in the area, we can send a car to pick you up same as if you arrive by airplane. This service will charge you about the same as a taxi, but they know their way into the lodge. Public bus service is also available, ask us how to get here by bus.

Is it easy to arrange a taxi from/to the lodge?
Yes, we can arrange it 24/7.

Is there a Restaurant in the hotel?
No, we only serve breakfast. There are several options in the area for lunch… and a couple of options for dinner nearby.

What’s the difference between hostel, lodge and hotel?
Tikaykilla is a Lodge. In a lodge we cannot guarantee staff in the front desk 24hs like in a hotel. However we make our utmost effort to be there when you need us. On the other hand, a hostel has shared rooms and usually has shared bathroom as well in the corridors and has common kitchen for all guests. All our rooms are double, queen or twin (single use also available) with private bathroom.

Is breakfast included?
Yes, continental.

Do you charge corkage fee?
US$ 3. / AR$ 20. PER BOTTLE.

Is there Laundry service in the hotel?
Yes, US$ 10 per each load (7Kg).

Is it possible to add an extra bed in the rooms?
Due to space and comfort matters, is not possible to add an extra bed. Maximum occupancy per room: 2 adults plus 1 baby.

Is there a cradle for babies?
Yes, there’s a cradle for up 2 years old babies free of charge. Subject to availability- Please inform this in advance of this requirement.

Are pets allowed?
Yes, but for sanitary measures pets are not allowed to enter into the rooms. However pets can stay in the veranda by the rooms or in our large garden.

Is smoking allowed in the rooms?
No, it is forbidden by law. It is also forbidden in the inner common areas.
